I was born inRacine,Wisconsin to two of the best parents one could ask for. They always taught me that you can accomplish whatever you want if you put your mind to it.With that in mind I decided to go back to school and pursue a lifelong passion, interior decorating.It seemed like a natural progression as I had been doing it in my spare time,in a less professional capacity for years.I believe that although the skills can be taught it takes an innate,natural sense of design to be a good decorator. Much like a painter,photographer,or musician it's a desire and talent you're born with.

Ever since I can remember I was intrigued by how a room was put together. How items were placed in the room.How colors,textures and lighting played off of and with each other to create an atmosphere in a room.

What is the rooms purpose? and is it functional in regard to that purpose?Does the room reflect the owners personality and tastes?

Things most people don't even  consider when looking at a room,yet all vital components in the finished product. That's where I come in, to help guide you through the process whether it be a small change or a major renovation. Although I am capable of working with all types of design styles, I work best with modern/contemporary.

There are those who say the look is cold,sterile,and uninviting. I see it as clean,simple, minimal.It's visually exciting without being overdone. There is also a wide variety of styles that fit under the cover of modern/contemporary from retro,to mid century,and danish modern .It doesn't have to be all plastic and metal either.You can achieve a modern look using sustainable,recyclable materials such as natural fabrics,glass,and a wide variety of woods.
